An internal Modem Media Intranet project, TML (Technologies Missing Link)
was built using a PHP template system, devised to help make site updates more
efficient, reduce development times of new content, and allow for efficient
changes to global branding and navigation elements. Powered by a custom MySQL
Database, TML featured a number of Flash and Shockwave interactive objects that
provided visual as well as functional enhancements. Routine development
bottlenecks were eliminated by using innovative PHP "objects" that
followed a "code once, use everywhere" philosophy. The site's
innovative technical design also allowed for subsequent departmental Intranets
to be built using the same standard technology base.
