Well, I was on the fence for entering the CBC right up to the end. Although Victor had artwork for me that I could have submitted, the time I expected to use to letter and polish off my pitch before the entry deadline went to dealing with a situation with the renovations taking place at my house, as detailed in my other blog. So whether I had it done and chose to submit or not is now moot. I ran our of time. I sort of take this as a sign that I should continue to pursue other routes to get this published.
I wasn’t 100% sold on the contest nor signing the rights to the story away. But I declined the Small press Idol Honorable mentions issue due to schedule limits for Victor so I could always enter in 2008 if I change my mind.
